Why: Current exchange traded carbon markets don’t allow sufficient specificity and current OTC carbon markets are opaque and inefficient. ClearX fills both of these gaps by allowing traders to trade highly specified carbon offsets (standard, project type, country, state, vintage, etc), allowances and derivatives on an efficient electronic OTC platform.
